Friends of Withdean Park AGM 22nd November 2017

Withdean Park Past and Future

The Friends of Withdean Park’s AGM this year will feature a talk by the well known local historian Geoffrey Mead on the history of the parishes of Patcham and Withdean. Everyone is invited – you don’t have to be a Friend to attend! Come along to learn more about Withdean’s past, and the Friends’ plans for the regeneration of the park in the future.

Geoffrey’s talk will be followed by a short meeting, and then refreshments. The AGM agenda will include details of our plans for the upkeep and regeneration of the park. The Friends are keen to welcome new members, and volunteers for our monthly work mornings – if you are interested in contributing to your local environment and maintaining the beauty of this little known but well loved park, this will be an opportunity for you to find out more about what we do and also put your own views and suggestions to the committee.

The AGM will be held on Wednesday 22nd November at St Thomas More’s Church Hall (bottom of Braybon Avenue), starting at 7.30pm. Street parking is normally available in Braybon Avenue and bus 5B stops outside the church.
