September...

All too soon: school, work and normal life resumes…. We certainly had our share of the sunshine though and cross fingers there is more to come. The weather can often be lovely for ages yet.

The harvest continues of course and our history article this month remembers the time when Brighton folk left for work in the hop fields. It sounds like they had a lot of fun to me.

It is apple harvest time too, and we have details inside of a festival at Stanmer to celebrate.

Hoping you have a lovely tranquil month as the summer winds down
